Registration Information

 

Registration is June 1 - July 15 for Fall Seasons
and
January 1 - Mid February for Spring Seasons

 Registration for Saturday Soccer is held in January/February for the Spring Season and June/July for the Fall Season.

The process begins so early due to all that is involved in preparing for the season. Please expected to be contacted in early March for a Spring Season in Mid-August for the Fall Season.

NON-COMPETITIVE IN-HOUSE PROGRAM 
This program is a new NON-COMPETITIVE option of our Outdoor "Saturday Soccer" part of FCYSC that only plays games at the Menarcheck Soccer Complex in South Union Township, PA. Registration closes on July 15th , 2024. Co-ed teams will be formed in early August into the traditional Under-6, Under-8, Under-10 age groups, and practices starting shortly thereafter. This division is for those players who wish to learn the game of soccer in a non-competitive format. Game Scores and Standings will not be kept in this program. This program will be 5-weeks and will not participate in World Cup. Travel players are not eligible to participate in this division and will be moved. FCYSC reserves the right to combine this program with the competitive U8 and U10 programs if low enrollment. All Players U8 through U14 are encouraged to attend their respective evaluation nights for the officers to be able to distribute players this year as equally as possible for the upcoming season. The officers will be drafting the teams this upcoming season in an effort to keep the teams equally leveled.

EVALUATION NIGHTS
Thursday 8/1 - 6pm to 7pm - U8 Players
Thursday 8/1 - 7pm to 8pm - U12 Players
Friday 8/2 - 6pm to 7pm - U10 Players
Friday 8/3 - 7pm to 8pm - U14 Players

GAME FORMATS
U6, U8, U10 - 6v6
U12 - 5v5
U14 - 4v4

Below are the steps in the registration process.

1.  To sign up for the Saturday Soccer Season you can register online.

2.  After registering online and payment is received in full then your child is eligible to be rostered on a team.

3.  The child is then registered with PA West Soccer Association.

4.  An evaluation of players will be held and officers will form the teams.

6.  Shirts are ordered for the teams.

7.  1-2 weeks after the creation of teams you will be contacted by the coach of the team in which your child was assigned with practice and game information

8.  Practices begin.

9.  Games begin.

REGISTRATION:

The execution of an intent to play the sport of soccer and the paying of fees to become a member of a specific team/club, PA West Soccer, and US Youth Soccer.

Age groups Available for Fall are typically U10, U12 and U14
and
Spring are typically from U10-U19 depending on registrations

Coaches recommendations for playing up will be required.



The process begins so early do to all that is involved in preparing for the season.

Below are the steps in the registration process.

1.  To sign for the Traveling Soccer Season you can register online.

-When registering you will be asked to mail a copy of your child's picture as well as a copy of their birth certificate.

2.  After registering online and payment is received in full then your  child is eligible to be rostered on a team.  In cases where there are more players than can be rostered on a team, and not enough to create a second team, a tryout/evaluation may be held before teams are formed. The date for the tryout will be determined based on field conditions and at least a weeks notice will be provided to all impacted players.

3.  Once rostered on a team a player pass is then created for the player.  This is where their picture is placed as well as the last six digits of their social security number and birthdate.

4.  The child is then registered with PA West Soccer Association and their player pass created saying they have been registered.

5. Player Passes, and Team Rosters are distributed to the coaches. 

6.  Coaches attend a scheduling meeting with all other clubs in the area

7.  Coaches then distribute schedules and information to parents and players.   

8.  Practices begin.

9.  Games begin.
